There are some days when the stars align just right. This was already set to be a big weekend for radio, but I managed to squeak out some time after work and before my family left for a Scouting event for the weekend to get out to Cuyahoga Valley National Park – K-0020. This was activation number 12 for me at this site. The weather was amazing for November in NE Ohio. I set up the Chameleon whip with extension by my favorite picnic table.
I pulled in 16 FT8 contacts fairly quickly. I was sneaking this activation in between work and getting my family off to camp, so I didn’t linger very long. Here is what it looks like on the QSOMap:
