The OSPOTA logs were collected and the QSOs counted. I didn’t do too badly given the issues that I had that day. The results put me in the lower middle of the single operator low power category in a park. I can’t complain about that. I think I can do much better next time around. And it looks like if you want to get in the top 3 or so, the best is to work high power solo in a park! Not a lot of entries there.
I learned a lot and had a lot of fun. I will definitely do it again next year. Now that I know the Salt Fork campground layout a little better, I might even go to the same place. Not the same site. I think there are quieter, better spots further down. I’ve got a bit of time to make that call.
